The Time Travellers constitution
The Time Travellers were formally constituted in April 2011 and subsequently elected as associate members of the Council for British Archaeology in the autumn.
Stated objectives of the group are:
To share and promote enthusiasm, information and ideas about local archaeology within the area of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.
To undertake research, develop an understanding, and pull together a record, of what we know about the archaeology of the surrounding area.
To improve the awareness and appreciation of local archaeology within the broader community through education and published information.
Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over subject to an annual membership fee.
All our events are open to anyone, although some will incur a small charge to non members.
If you are interested in joining an event be sure to book with the contact named in our programme of events.
The organization is run by a management committee comprising five trustees and up to two additional members, all subject to election at an AGM held in March/April of each year.
The Time Travellers Committee meets monthly to organise events and plan a forward programme. Its current membership can be found on the Contacts page
